Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was our first time in NY (and US in general) and we wanted somewhere close to my uncle’s in Yonkers. The location is amazing, very quiet and nice for walks (there’s also a park some 10 minutes walking distance). The house itself is well maintained and spacious enough for 4 people. Also loved spending the evenings on the terrace and on clear days you could see the Hudson River. There is a bus stop at a walking distance and also a train stop (Glenwood) that goes straight to Grand Central.

Negative: We got told last minute that the pull out couch was broken, which kind of changed how we slept at the apartment.. but they were kind to offer a refund 👍🏾 Also the fridge for some reason wouldn’t get cold enough. The freezer was ok though.

Summary: Quiet neighbourhood, public transport at walking distance, clean house and cosy terrace
