Summary: I had no idea that our room was not actually in the building where you check in. We brought all our luggage across the street from the parking lot to check in. Nevada allows smoking inside casinos so there was a very strong cigarette smell. After completing check in we were told to park in front of our room, but we weren’t shown exactly which building - there are several branded as “Winners”. Showing us a map where to go would have been helpful. We dragged our luggage to the wrong building and it was just an awkward and uncomfortable experience. The room had an ice bin. No materials in the room to show us where things were. After walking around to find the ice machine, we called the front desk and were told we had to come into the casino bar to get ice. The restaurant was in the middle of the casino and looked more like a Dennys than a steakhouse. With the appearance and the smell of smoke we decided to pass. Next morning at 9am I was awake, but hubby was getting more rest after lots of driving. A loud knock on the door was housekeeping. I was expecting a uniformed officer from the sound. I opened the door and she apologized. Very confusing. “Are you checking out at 11?” Yes we are. Not great altogether. But the bed was comfortable enough. If you just want a place to lay your head and be on your way, it should do just fine.
