Heron Now adjoins the bayside world of the Apalachicola National Estuarine Reserve which provides one mile of undeveloped bayshore waterfront to explore by foot or boat. Bring your canoes and kayaks (or rent locally) because there is bay access. Bring your fishing gear because the bay is full of sea trout, redfish, and mullet . Summary: Heron Now is perfectly located (for us) off the main drag, with a great view of the bay and a close walk. For those interested in fishing, check out the bay. we caught crooker, catfish and redfish and crabs.The owners communication with us left nothing to the imagination, we were well informed of what to expect upon arrival as well as who to contact in the event a problem arose (which none did). The best recommendation we can give is that we would definitely return to Heron Now.
